Beaconsfield and its councillor, Jackson Ng

Beaconsfield is a town in south Buckinghamshire. Since 1 April 2020 its principal council has been Buckinghamshire Council, the county's unitary authority (Buckinghamshire (Structural Changes) Order 2019). Beaconsfield Town Council is the town's own, local tier of government.

Cllr Jackson Ng (Conservative) has represented the Beaconsfield ward on Buckinghamshire Council since May 2021 and was re-elected in May 2025. He has been a Beaconsfield Town Councillor for Central Ward since 2017, has served on all of the Town Council's committees (Finance, Planning, and Communities & Safety), was Deputy Mayor in 2022/23 and was Mayor of Beaconsfield in 2023/24. He has lived in the town since 2016.

The issues he has raised for the town include the Green Belt around Beaconsfield, the Local Plan and its housing figures, road repairs such as those on Station Road, and fire cover. On 26 November 2025 Full Council carried his motion asking the Leader to object formally to the Fire Authority's proposed reductions, by 42 votes to 35.
