On the record: where I stand

Community

The town beyond the chamber: Remembrance, the Proclamation, the coronation, the schools, the hospice.

Where I stand

Beaconsfield is more than the council chamber. I read the Royal Proclamation of King Charles III to residents on the steps of our Town Hall, and on Remembrance Sunday I stand with the town to honour those who gave everything for our freedoms. I have cheered Beaconsfield High School’s Duke of Edinburgh award winners, praised the National Film and Television School at Full Council, and joined the Mayor of Beaconsfield to present the Town Council’s cheque to Florence Nightingale Hospice. I will keep turning up for our town, and standing up for it.
