Proposing the motion to protect Beaconsfield's fire engine

“When Beaconsfield's fire station loses a fire engine, your community loses it too.”

Beaconsfield is surrounded by precious Green Belt, with the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on our doorstep, and I will do absolutely everything I can to protect them.

Three things I’m working on

  • Housing & the Local Plan

Buckinghamshire has been set a 95,500-home target by the Labour Government. My question is always the same: where is the infrastructure to match it?

  • Roads & safety

Safer roads and repairs that get delivered, from Station Road to the Pyebush Roundabout.

  • Green Belt

Green Belt surrounds Beaconsfield. I’ve asked the council in public what its strategy is for protecting it, and I’ll keep fighting for it.

All seven issues, with every post, clip and vote

In the chamber, on the record

What I’ve said in the council chamber, in my own words, each clip linked to the council’s webcast.

“Land within certain protected designations in the Green Belt cannot be classified as grey belt.”
