Speaking to Council Leader about the Local Plan

🌳 I have immediately met with Buckinghamshire Council Leader Steven Broadbent following publication of the Local Plan to make clear my position on the Green Belt. You can watch a video about it here.

We both share deep concerns about Labour-imposed housing targets, made even worse by the lack of commitment to infrastructure funding, which will heavily impact our county.

I have both behind the scenes and publicly continued to express my stance clearly — which is to do absolutely everything we can to protect our Green Belt. That battle will continue.

Your views really do count, so please take a look at the consultation and share your thoughts. I will continue to scrutinise the Local Plan in detail and will keep you updated as soon as I hear more.
