Asking the tough questions to Eton College to ensure our Green Belt is protected.

Jackson asking questions at a planning committee meeting

As part of my duties as a Member of the East & South Buckinghamshire Area Planning Committee, I scrutinised Eton College on their plans for housing development. While not in Beaconsfield, I was concerned, and remain concerned about precedence of allowing applications that discard the protections in place regarding the NPPF and the "Golden Rules", as well as pushing for more affordable housing if developments were to take place and asking whether green spaces are being offered to the community. As I say in my exchange: I make no apology of being a real stickler on the green belt, that’s what residents voted for us to protect and I’ll keep voicing those concerns on their behalf. You can see some of my questions here.
