Appointed to the Strategic Sites Committee

Delighted to be appointed to the Buckinghamshire Council’s Strategic Sites Committee and the Select Committee for Finance & Resources.

The Strategic Sites Committee deals with wider strategic development with a significant impact beyond the specific local area in #Buckinghamshire, while the Finance & Resources Committee holds decision-makers to account by ensuring that local public services are delivered effectively, efficiently and in the best interests of residents.

It's very exciting to learn about the different mechanisms available for scrutiny, although I'd imagine I will need some time before I can fully deliver for residents.

Many thanks to the hardworking Council workers for the courses, and ongoing support since my election.
