Protecting Our Green Belt – My Formal Objection to Beeches Park Development
This morning, fresh from re-election with a new mandate, I formally submitted my objection to the Beeches Park planning application, which proposes building on our precious green belt land. As your elected councillor, I was voted in on a clear pledge to protect Beaconsfield’s environment and safeguard our green spaces for future generations.
The green belt is not just a line on a map — it is a vital buffer that prevents urban sprawl, preserves the character of our town, and protects the natural habitats that support local wildlife. Allowing development at Beeches Park would set a dangerous precedent and undermine the very principles our community stands for.
I will continue to stand firmly with residents in defending our green belt and ensuring that development in Beaconsfield is sustainable, responsible, and in keeping with our town’s heritage.
Let’s keep our green belt green.
