As a Councillor at both unitary and town council level, it's always gratifying to come alongside fellow residents, including many fellow Town Council members to do a spot of litter picking. Holtspur Recreation ground was in need of a bit of love, and so a good group of us went to do hunt for rubbish across the edges of the recreation ground. It's alarming to see canisters (likely laughing gas) too, which we are disposing off but is not welcome in the community.
Many bags of litter after, the grounds are certainly in much better shape. We've been putting a lot of attention in Holtspur lately, including the addition of the excellent outdoor gym, and we are looking into more EV Chargers and CCTV too.
