This week I spoke at the Growth, Infrastructure and Housing Select Committee at Buckinghamshire Council, where I continued to deploy all my legal experience to challenge any development pressure on our precious greenbelt.
I’m afraid that means going deep into the technical details, even at footnote level, to test and push our council to explore every avenue in challenging Labour’s attempts to dilute our Greenbelt protections, including being exposed to ‘Greybelt’ reclassification.
We need full transparency on how many hectares of Greenbelt might be lost and how many dwellings might be built. I know that our colleague at Buckinghamshire Council are consulting hard with the government and I will play my part to ensure your voice is heard at every stage.
