🏘 Buckinghamshire is facing the prospect of a Labour Government imposed target of 95,500 more houses in our County, with sites around Beaconsfield not ruled out.
I have been engaging with local residents and advocacy groups who have helpfully suggested an independent demographic analysis to make the case that Beaconsfield and wider Buckinghamshire cannot handle such ramp up of housing, our infrastructure simply cannot cope. We need to challenge at every stage the assumptions being made on their housing formula.
I know Buckinghamshire Council officers are listening carefully to our suggestions and I hope they take full advantage of this to make our case to reduce our housing targets.
